One of the hard things to start a business is doing the first step. However, you have to do this. A big step is started from the fist step. Even thousand steps are also started from the fist step. So, what is the fist thing we should do to change our hobby to a business?
Ok, Let’s discuss about it. Take the time more to practice your hobby, and create product with the best quality and more quantity. Wise word said Practice makes perfect. That is correct. With practice, we will create better result. Good quality product will increase the price.
If many people with similar hobby practice too, of course your product should have the higher value than the similar product. At least, your product is able to compete in the market. The problem will come when hobby that usually done in spare time but finally become as daily activity, then people tend to be less intention to do this again.
This is natural. However, that is consequence from the transformation of hobby to a business. In order to make you more enjoy with this transformation process, you can do it slowly and systematically.
Do not try to spend too much time, but add the frequency gradually. For example, if you create your product once a month, do not add your time by doing it once a week. Increasing your productivity become twice a month, and then if you feel comfortable with this new rhythm, ensure you can increase productivity higher and higher again.
