Regional banks in Maryland and Minnesota were closed – This is the next bank closures this year. The regulators closed Regional banks in Maryland and Minnesota. the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation said that this bank closing makes the total number of failed banks this year to 83.
According to CNN Money, Baltimore, Md. will reopen Monday as part of Manufacturers and Traders Trust Company. Meanwhile the FDIC said that M&T agreed to assume all of Bradford Bank’s $383 million in deposits and will purchase $452 million in assets.
